One-time assistance of MNT 10 million to be provided to athletes qualified for Olympics

UIaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian athletes have so far earned 30 spots in 12 events of Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.
Issues regarding providing one-time financial assistance of MNT 10 million to each athletes who qualified for Olympics as well as raising the pay of the national team athletes to MNT 1.5 million will be discussed at the Cabinet meeting, said L.Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister and Chief of the National Committee of Olympic Games Preparation.
“This Summer Olympics will be a symbol of humanity’s victory over the pandemic. We have to mobilize all efforts to be successful and have Olympic champions. Cooperation of members of the National Committee is crucial for it,” added the PM.
Furthermore,
officials were obliged to organize training of the athletes based on proper
planning under infection protection regime, to involve all personnel in PCR
testing and immunization as well as include athletes, who will participate in
Olympic qualifying tournaments and international tournaments, in scheduled
charter flights and international flights.
