96.7 percent of capital city citizens partially vaccinated against COVID-19

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A total of 3,171 citizens were involved
in immunization in the capital city yesterday, May 16. Specifically, 1,157
people received their first shots of COVID-19 vaccine while 3,171 people have
gotten their second shots.
Since the vaccination rollout launched in February, 96.7 percent
of capital city citizens aged over 18 or 921,153 people have had the first dose
of vaccine and 51.4 percent or 489,950 people have been fully vaccinated.
At the national level, 1,778,612 people or 86 percent have been
vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine and 489,950 people or 31.1 percent
with the second dose.
