COVID-19: 541 new cases, two deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 541 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded nationwide in the past 24 hours. 511 of the new cases were detected in Ulaanbaatar city and 30 in rural areas. 


In the country, 48,642 COVID-19 cases have so far been recorded. In the past 24 hours, 1,306 people were discharged from hospital and isolation, bringing the total number of recoveries to 40,900. 4,256 people are currently receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19.

 

The Ministry of Health also reported that two people died from COVID-19, taking the COVID-19 death toll to 207.
