Culture Ministry sign cooperation agreement with aimag and capital city governors

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 11 and 12, the Cabinet Secretariat is organizing a joint meeting and seminar for the chairmen and governors of aimag and capital city Citizens Representatives' Khurals at the Government House.
During the meeting on March 11, the Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin informed about the policies and activities to be pursued in the cultural sector in 2021 and cooperation in the field of culture at the local level.
Afterwards, Ch.Nomin, Member of the Government and Minister of Culture of Mongolia, met with the Governors of 21 aimags and the capital city to discuss the functions set forth in the legislation in the field of culture, Vision-2050, ‘Five-Year Guidelines for Mongolia 2021-2025’.
Within the framework of the objective to increase the quality and access to cultural and arts services, enlightenment, protection of cultural heritage, support and development of national innovative creative cultural production under the ‘Government Action Plan 2020-2024’ and the strategic plan of the Ministry of Culture 2021-2024, the Ministry of Culture signed a cooperation agreement with the governors of aimags and the capital city for the year 2021.
