47 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At today’s regular press briefing on the latest COVID-19 situation, it was reported that 47 new cases were detected in Mongolia after testing 18,871 people nationwide within the past 24 hours.
All of the newly confirmed cases were recorded in the
capital city. Most of them were identified among close contacts of confirmed
cases as well as from cluster infections in Ulaanbaatar. Also, four new cases
were detected at Elizabeth Town and eight cases at CGS Hospital. Therefore, the
capital city’s total cases of COVID-19 have reached 1284.
No new infections were recorded in other provinces.
As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in
Mongolia now stands at 2120, with 1,546 recoveries.
