CRC General Secretary elected APT Management Committee Vice Chairman

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ General Secretary of the Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia T.Naranmandakh has been elected as a Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) at the 44thsession of the Management Committee virtually held back-to-back with the 15th Session of the General Assembly of the APT on December 3-10.
Over 270 delegates, including Ministers and Deputy Ministers responsible for Information and Communication Technology, department directors, ICT authority officials of 36 members and 8 associate members of the APT, and representatives of international organizations, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the International Telecommunication Union, took part in the sessions.
The APT Management Committee pursues the polices and principles of the General Assembly, and supervises the Secretariat's function, reviews and approves work program, annual budget and accounts and draws up regulations, etc.
