Culture Minister receives Turkish Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On December 15, Minister of Culture S.Chuluun received Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal.
Minister S.Chuluun discussed the museum project at Sage Tonyukuk’s complex with the Turkish Ambassador, and exchanged views on further expanding partnership between the museums, libraries, and theaters of the two countries and organizing the work of publishing the literary works of the two countries’ top authors in Mongolian and Turkish. During the meeting, they also discussed continuing the implementation of the project on the protection and restoration of the Shoroon Bumbagar site, and cooperation in matters involving Mongol history being kept at Turkish libraries and museums as well as sites tracing back to Turkic history in Mongolia.
Congratulating the Minister about the re-establishment of the Minister of Culture, the Ambassador expressed gratitude for becoming able to cooperate with the ministry in the matters, and highlighted his interest in cooperating on protecting the historic artifacts tracing back to the Turkic Khaganate as well as the museum project for the Sage Tonyukuk complex.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation in the preparation of personnel in the field of culture and arts and sharing practices in the future.
