Forum for the Development of Mongolia held online

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolians' Association in Great Britain in collaboration with the Embassy of Mongolia to the United Kingdom and the National University of Mongolia held the 16th Forum for the Development of Mongolia on December 5-6 in an online format.
Around 300 Mongolians residing in the countries such as Mongolia, Australia, England, USA, Germany, South Korea, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Hungary and Japan participated in the forum, having open discussions and sharing their opinions on three topics “Cultural Creative Production and Sustainable Development”, “Mining and Sustainable Development” and “Higher Education and Sustainable Development”.
Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan delivered greetings to the forum attendees. In his remarks, the Minister informed about ongoing policies and measures targeted to Mongolian citizens studying, working and living abroad. He also noted that “World Mongolians II” Program is under development.
Introducing Global Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 that contains 17 goals, Ambassador of Mongolia to the UK N.Tulga expressed his satisfaction that the attendees are discussing Vision-2050, Mongolia’s long-term development policy and some matters on sustainable development targeted to Mongolia’s Sustainable Development Vision 2030.
