Instruments of State Philharmonic Orchestra to be replaced with MNT 1.8 billion

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On October 14, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received Director of the Mongolian State Philharmonic Orchestra S.Battulga and handed over a copy of the Government resolution.  


The resolution outlines that the Minister of Finance is tasked to earmark MNT 1 billion and 800 million, which is required for replacing instruments of the “Symphony Orchestra” of the Mongolian State Philharmonic and MNT 200 million for the State Morin Khuur Ensemble of Mongolia from the Government Reserves Fund.


During his visit to the State Philharmonic and the State Morin Khuur Ensemble on September 28, the PM pledged to resolve some encountering issues and the Cabinet  made the decision at its regular meeting convened on September 30.  


Expressing gratitude to the PM on behalf of all artists, Director of the State Philharmonic highlighted that investment of the Government to the State Philharmonic and the State Morin Khuur Ensemble inspire artists. He also expressed to organize procurement of the instruments in a short period of time.
