Khuraldai Falconry Festival to take place

in collaboration with the Capital City Tourism Department will organize the second
Khuraldai Falconry Festival on October 3 at Chinggis Khaan Khuree Camp.
The Capital City Tourism Department announced at a briefing on October 1 that the festival will be annually organized to make
widely known the national bird, closely connected with the country’s history and
culture, falcon, revive the intangible cultural heritage of falconry, develop
the festival as a tourist attraction, promote special interest tourism, and
attract domestic and foreign tourists.
The program of Khuraldai Falconry Festival to be co-organized
by the Mongolian Falconry Association, Mongolian Horseback Archery Association,
Mongol Taiga Federation, and Saker Falcon Gerege NGO features performance of Mongolian
Grand Theater of National Arts, parade of horse archers and bird trainers with taiga
dogs, competitions among falcon trainers and horse archers and night events
such as fireworks display and circus performance.
