Khan Khentii SPA to expand cooperation with Seoraksan National Park

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Administration of Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area and Seoraksan National park of the Republic of Korea have recently extended their cooperation agreement. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Deputy Minister of Environemnt and Tourism Ts.Batbayar and Head of the Administration of the Khan Khentii Special Protected Area (SPA) B.Khashmargad from the Mongolian side, while the South Korean side sent their signed document by post.


The two parks first established cooperation in 2014 and extended the cooperation agreement in 2017. As part of the partnership, over 40 specialists and rangers of the administrations of special and strictly protected areas and national parks of Bogdkhan Mountain, Orkhon Valley, Khuvsgul, Onon Balj, Dornod, Gorkhi Terelj, Great Gobi B, Khan Khukhii, and Ikh Nart visited South Korean national parks to learn from their experiences.
