MIAT grants free flight right to doctors for assistance in delivery of twin girls onboard

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ MIAT Mongolian Airlines has awarded the doctors, who assisted a twins delivery onboard, with one-time free trip to a destination in route operated by the airline.
Specifically, a rare event occurred on Boeing 767-300 aircraft that a pregnant woman gave birth to twin girls onboard a charter flight en route Istanbul-Ulaanbaatar on July 9, 2020.
Authorities of the company expressed gratitude to the doctors namely nurse at reanimation and intensive treatment unit of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health A.Buyanjargal, physician at sanatorium for elders in Bagakhangai district D.Munkhsaruul, pediatrician at the State Central Second Hospital D.Otgonchimeg, pediatrician at Nomun hospital P.Sugarmaa, head of emergency assistance department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases B.Batsukh and obstetrician Yo.Davaa, who assisted in delivery of the babies safely, providing medical aid and showing their professional skills.
Earlier, MIAT company granted both the children a set of lifetime free flights on the airline.
