No new COVID-19 case recorded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health, Head of the Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa provided updates on the latest test results and treatment.
According to her, all test results came out negative after coronavirus tests carried out on 399 people at two laboratories on August 23. And one more person has recovered and transferred into a sanatorium-based isolation, the next stage of mandatory isolation today.
A total confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 298 in Mongolia and 289 of them have made recovery. 31 of 289 recovered people are under sanatorium-based isolation, 40 are under home isolation and isolation period for 218 people has finished.
A total of nine people are undergoing treatment at the NCCD. 7 of them are in mild and 2 are in serious health condition. A total of 24 people are under treatment, medical supervision and surveillance at the NCCD.
