Associate school on neuroscience to be held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 3rd  International Brain Research Organization – Asia/Pacific Regional Committee (IBRO-APRC) Ulaanbaatar Associate School on Basic Techniques in Neurosciences will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on August 10-15.


The associate school will be co-organized by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), Mongolian Neuroscience Society (MNS) and Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS). It will be held virtually at MNUMS this year, featuring lectures, tech-talks, hands-on sessions and group discussions. Mongolian and international scientists will give lectures covering the topics including, “Stress-related Disorders”, “Cell Viability Assay”, “Neuroinflammation” and “Neural Cell Signaling” and a discussion on "Neuroethics / Bioethics" will be held on the last day of the school.


Neuroscience is a multidisciplinary science that studies the nervous system, its structure, and function from the molecular level to the clinical, neuropsychological, psychological, behavioral, neuromarketing, and social levels. It is evolving in many fields of science which includes behavior, cell science, cognition, culture, brain structure and function, social neuroscience, and molecular biology.
