Agriculture Minister visits veterinary service organizations

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Z.Mendsaikhan visited Biocombinat state-owned factory at the General Authority for Veterinary Services, State Laboratory for Testing and Certification of Veterinary Drugs and State Central Veterinary and Hygiene Laboratory, sharing views with scholars and researchers.
During this, the Minister said he would pay attention on involving scholars and researchers of these organizations in domestic and foreign training, and improving their education and knowledge.
Authorities of the Biocombinat the informed to the Minister that Mongolian and Hungarian sides have signed an interest-free loan agreement of USD 57 million on renovation of the factory. The Government of Mongolia considered it proper to renovate Biocombinat state-owned factory and established an agreement on the general program on financial cooperation with the Government of Hungary in 2016 firstly. Then the two sides agreed to increase cost of the project to USD 57 million, which was MNT 25 million, and adopted amendments in 2019.
