More than 20,000 tons of meat to be prepared for winter needs

/MONTSAME/ At its meeting convened today, the Cabinet discussed wintering and
spring preparations and obliged all ministers and relevant authorities to
ensure preparations well, giving the following directives.
In specific, it was assigned to prepare more than 20 thousand tons of meat reserves for food demand of population residing in the capital city, aimag centers and other settlement areas for the upcoming winter and spring seasons as well as to back up exports of livestock and meat in all forms and to increase export volume.
Additionally, all ministers and heads of corresponding agencies were tasked to make schedules on the use of encampment areas, to involve livestock to winter in transhumance in medical examination, diagnosis and injection, to put control on run-through, to deliver weather news on dangerous and disastrous natural phenomenon to residents and herders promptly, to issue a graphic on providing herders with medical services as well as to keep pregnant women, children aged 0-5 and disabled citizens under permanent control.
At the
meeting, other directives were also given on making detailed plan on ensuring
spring and wintering preparations, to monitor its implementation and each
aimag, soum and district to build up reserve of grass and fodder at target amount.
Furthermore, the Cabinet tasked governors of aimag and the capital city to exchange information about their herding families, to render hospital aid to them in that region where they are practicing transhumance and help the hospitals to ensure their emergency preparation.
