Izumisano city of Japan makes donation to flood-hit Tuv aimag
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On June 29, Deputy governor of Izumisano
city of Japan, that has friendly ties with Tuv aimag of Mongolia, Matsushita
Yoshihiko and city council chair Mukae Hideo visited the Consulate General of
Mongolia in Osaka.
The officials handed over a ‘Mokuroku’ (donation certificate)
with the donation of JPY 750,000 – JPY 500,000 from Izumisano city, JPY 200,000
from city council, and JPY 50,000 from municipality officials – for Tuv aimag
that suffered much loss due to flooding caused by heavy precipitation on June 21
The Consul General of Mongolia thanked the Izumisano
officials and undertook to deliver the donation to Tuv aimag through the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs.
