Playtime Festival postponed until next year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ One of the biggest live music festivals in Mongolia, Playtime, that was originally scheduled for July 16-19, 2020, has been postponed by a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.


The festival organizers released a statement on their Facebook page on May 22, saying that the festival was rescheduled for July 16-18, 2021, in compliance with the Covid-19 measures and rules put in place by the Government and considering that the country is still at high risk of Covid-19 outbreak.


According to the organizers, those who have already purchased their tickets will automatically receive new tickets to the 2021 festival by email.  


The statement also says that a virtual Playtime Festival will be held in July 2020 and preparations are underway.
