Laboratory equipment of Power engineering training center upgraded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Between 1999 and 2000, the German
Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) has implemented a project in
Mongolia with EUR 7 million assistance from the Government of Germany,
installing and upgrading power engineering laboratory equipment at the Power
engineering training center, training instructors, preparing textbooks, and
providing technical assistance.
With support from GIZ and the projects ‘Energy Efficiency 3+’ and ‘Making buildings more energy efficient’, various training equipment including 13 electrical training boards, 43 power supplies and measuring tools, computer, and a copy machine, have been supplied to the training center, opening up an opportunity to train skilled workers through advanced technologies.
