Rain expected in most parts of the country over the weekend

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Rain is expected in northern parts of western aimags tonight, and in most parts of central aimags tomorrow.
Rain and wet snow are expected in most parts of central and eastern aimags, and in northern parts of Gobi aimags on May 9, in eastern parts of eastern aimags on May 10 and 12, and in eastern parts of central aimags and in some parts of eastern aimags on May 11.
Wind speed will reach 12-14 m/sec in some parts of the country on May 9, and 14-16 m/sec in the Gobi and plains on May 10, 11, and 12.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Ider, Tes, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz, and Khalkh rivers, the temperature will range from -8 to -13 degrees Celsius during the night, and +5 to +10 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be +1 to +6 during the night, and +14 to +19 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -4 to +1 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +9 to +14 degrees Celsius. Warmer temperatures are expected in the western region from May 10.
