State Secretary of Foreign Affairs receives President of MNCCI

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 15, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren received President of Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) O.Amartuvshin.
The State Secretary introduced the Government's policies and decisions on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the development of a national program and provided information on specific activities and measures taken so far. Noting that the promotion of a business culture that respects human rights is important for sustainable business growth and the strengthening of democracy, The Secretary of State called on the MNCCI to take the lead in implementing the Guiding Principles, developing the national program and ensuring the active participation of businesses and enterprises.
Highlighting the cooperation of MNCCI and its partner organizations in the field of business ethics, human rights and anti-corruption, President O.Amartuvshin pledged to fully support the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the development of the national program through its member organizations and local branches.
Moreover, sides exchanged views on the progress of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the MNCCI and the progress of major events planned for this year.
