Cabinet resolves housing issues for military personnel

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Today, the Cabinet at its regular meeting
made a decision on housing issues of over 590 military personnel. Specifically, over
590 flats that are owned by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of
Mongolian Armed Forces will be sold at reduced price or privatized to military personnel.
22 percent out of total personnel in defense sector live in communal apartment blocks, 20 percent --in the specific flats for personnel with higher position, four percent -- in accommodations provided by the organization, 39 percent – in their own fenced area in the ger district, and 10 percent in someone’s flats and/or fenced area in ger district.
