Health Minister receives World Bank Country Manager for Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On February 11, Minister of Health D.Sarangerel received World Bank Country Manager for Mongolia Andrei Mikhnev. They discussed measures to prevent and ensure readiness for the novel coronavirus infection, and the implementation of the E-Health joint project.
During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the importance of hospital beds and necessary medical equipment in the framework of prevention and readiness for the novel coronavirus, and requested the World Bank to provide certain assistance in the matter.
In turn, World Bank Country Manager for Mongolia Andrei Mikhnev expressed possibility to provide a certain amount of assistance through financial replanning in the framework of the project being implemented with financing from the World Bank.
