‘Artis Altai’ cooperative manufacturing woolen handicrafts

Gobi-Altai /MONTSAME/ ‘Artis Altai’ cooperative of Esonbulag soum of Gobi-Altai aimag is manufacturing handicrafts, processing sheep wool with traditional technology.
Founded about 20 years ago, the cooperative is manufacturing products such as cushion, rug, slippers, key holder, hat, scarf and Mongolian boots as well as souvenirs in line with sanitary requirements.
On February 5, officials led by Governor of the aimag V.Renstendorj became familiarized with activity of the cooperative. During the visit, they exchanged views on renewing types of the products in the future. In addition, authorities of the aimag pledged to render support on renovating necessary equipment of the cooperative.
