Chief of NEMA participates Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The delegation headed by Chief of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Major General T.Badral attended “Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction 2019” on November 25-27 which was co-organized by Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) and Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of the Republic of Turkey.
In the course of the conference which took place in Ankara, the participants held discussion on learning from member countries’ experience on increasing the capacity of educational institutions to cope with disaster, reducing the risk of dust storms and developing regional development strategies and post-disaster recovery.
Major General T.Badral chaired the third session “Strengthening the Capacity Building for Disaster Reduction” and Head of the Foreign Relations Department of NEMA, Colonel Ch.Ariunaa, delivered a speech “About Mongolia's efforts to strengthen the capacity of schools in disaster risk reduction” reported NEMA.
