Mongolian circus artists to perform at Cirque Phénix in ParisArt & Culture
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian artists composed of more than 40 circus artists and dancers, musicians and singers from Mongolian Grand Theater of National Art are going to take part in the circus show of world-famous French circus ‘Cirque Phénix’. The performance commemorating the 20th anniversary of the ‘Cirque Phénix’ will be staged from 23 November until February 11, 2020 in Paris, France.
The show that consolidates arts of circus, theatre, dance and music will include performances displaying Mongolian history and livelihood as well as its nomadic arts and culture, including a performance of an assembly of Mongolian Ger.
A French-educated Mongolian actor and choreographer is working as a director of the Mongolian part in the show.
Circus Mongolia Khadgaa, Mongolian Grand Theater of National Art, Puppet Theatre of Mongolia, Ministry of Education and Culture and Environment and Tourism, Culture and Arts Authority of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar city’s culture department, Alliance France in Mongolia and Embassy of France in Mongolia supported to organize the show.
