Blizzard warning issued for some parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Snow and blizzards are expected in the northern parts of central and eastern aimags, with temperature drops in the eastern region today.
Snow is expected in northern parts of central and eastern aimags on November 5, in eastern parts of eastern aimags on November 6, and in western aimags and the western part of central aimags on November 8.
Wind speed will reach 16-18 m/sec at times in the Gobi and plains on November 6, and in mountainous areas of Altai on November 8.
Despite the temperature drops in the eastern region on November 6, in the depression of Darkhad, in mountainous areas of Khuvsgul, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, and near Khurenbelchir, the temperature will range from -11 to -16 degrees Celsius during the night, and -1 to +4 during the day.
In mountainous areas of Khangai and Khentei, and in the basins of Orkhon, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Onon and Ulz rivers, the temperature will be -8 to -13 during the night, and +3 to +8 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be -2 to +3 during the night, and +11 to +16 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +6 to +11 degrees Celsius.
