Third Mongolia-China Expo kicks off in Inner MongoliaArt & Culture
Ulanqab /MONTSAME/ The third ‘Mongolia-China Expo’ opened in Hohhot, Ulanqab and Tongliao cities of Inner Mongolia. During the expo to be run from September 6 to 10, various events such as bilateral trade fair, cultural exchange, meetings, forums and investment forum will be held.
In connection with marking the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China, the two sides are giving high significance to the expo. Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin is leading the expo from Mongolian side while Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress of China Baima Chilin is leading Chinese side.
The third expo is being organized within Belt and Road Initiative under the motto ‘Let’s push forward regional cooperation in Northeast Asia through establishing Mongolia-China-Russia Economic Corridor. ’
Some 1200 guests and representatives are participating from Mongolia in the expo being co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Road and Transport Development, Customs General Administration, General Agency for Specialized Inspection, Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC, MIAT Mongolian Airlines, the Agency for Standardization and Metrology, Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Misheel expo.
A total of 450 Mongolian entities are provided an opportunity to sell their products and promote their operations. It is significant to increase trade turnover between the two countries and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
