Defense Minister meets First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On August 28, Minister of Defense N.Enkhbold received delegates headed by First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General A.Yu.Chaikov.
While sharing views on bilateral defense and military relations and cooperation, which have been expanding year to year, the sides expressed delight at jointly celebrating the historic anniversary of the Victory of the Khalkhiin Gol Battle.
“We are thankful to the Russian Ministry of Defense on paying special attention on marking the historic victory by sending artists of Alexandrov Russian Army Song and Dance Ensemble and aerobatic demonstration team of the Russian Air Force to Mongolia,” said Minister N.Enkhbold and awarded the representatives led by Major General A.Yu.Chaikov with medals dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory of Khalkhiin Gol Battle.
