Ulaanbaatar and Denver cooperation discussed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 2, First Deputy of Development Policy of the Ulaanbaatar City Mayor J.Batbayasgalan received delegates from the Denver city in Colorado of the USA, including Honorary Consul of Mongolia and a founder and current Chairman of the Ulaanbaatar-Denver Sister Cities Committee James F. Wagenlander to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between Ulaanbaatar and Denver cities.
First Deputy J.Batbayasgalan mentioned about the expanding friendly ties between Ulaanbaatar and Denver since the two cities established sister city partnerships in 2001 and expressed his willingness to share experience with Denver and train Mongolian professionals in the city with a view to improve public service of the city. He also added that the Ulaanbaatar city is ready to strengthen its ties with Denver by cooperating in various fields.
In turn, the delegates of the Denver invited the mayor of Ulaanbaatar city to visit Denver in the coming month and expressed their full support on exchanging employees of the two cities’ administration offices to share experiences.
