Eight watermelon greenhouses put into operationSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Delegates of Haman county of Gyeongsang Province of the Republic of Korea led by the Chairman of the County Assembly and Governor made a working visit in Khan-Uul district on July 10-13.
As the leading county of the Republic of Korea for its agricultural development, Haman county grows watermelon, sweet pepper, and tomatoes in greenhouses equipped with technology that meets global standards. During their visit, eight 50-meter greenhouses which can be operated throughout the year have been put into operation with non-refundable aid of Haman county at the ‘Khan-Uul Agro’ park located in Khan-Uul district.
The Khan-Uul district officials highlighted that the greenhouses that are specifically suited to grow watermelons are a significant contribution to the district’s goal to become an ‘Eco’ district.
