Chingeltei Festival takes place for the seventh year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Chingeltei Festival’ was held for the seventh year under theme ‘Pride of Mongolia' on May 25 in Ankara street. Governor’s Office of Chingeltei district annually organizes the festival in collaboration with the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture (MSUAC) to enlighten citizens, promote national heritage, culture and modern urban culture as well as to bring public services close to the citizens.
Governor of the Capital City S.Amarsaikhan, Ambassadors of Turkey and Vietnam, State Laureate and People’s Artist N.Suvd and other officials attended the opening of the festival. Governor S.Amarsaikhan said that we intend to organize various works for publicizing and outspreading history and culture of Ulaanbaatar city and restoring and protecting the historical sites within the 380th historic anniversary of the capital city. Chingeltei Festival is the start of numerous works to be realized within people-centered policy.
During the festival, students of the MSUAC, kindergarten children, pupils and professional arts organizations performed a concert in addition to other multi-sided events such as citizens’ parade, open mic, street dance battle, sports and fun competitions, fine arts and handicrafts exhibitions and sale services.
