Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The second ballet performance addressing pressing environmental issue titled ‘Life element O2’ will be staged at Corporate Convention Center on May 19, 2019.

Last year, Mongolian-American Ballet Program presented its first environmental project on water conservation titled ‘Life Saviour H2O’ in collaboration with the Nomadic ballet production. The second ballet performance will raise the issue of air pollution and child health.

The project is supported by the UNICEF and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which are implementing a long-term program aimed at reducing air pollution, protecting maternal and child health and improving health care with the Government of Mongolia.

Revenue from ticket sales will be donated to the Mongolian-American Ballet Program and spent on training of young ballet dancers. Within the framework of the program, a total of 28 dancers of Mongolian State Conservatory and State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet were engaged in special programs in the US and Austria over the past seven years.
