Students to have start-up knowledgeSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the frameworks of implementation of the national program ‘Student with Income’ by the Government of Mongolia, a training themed ‘Entrepreneurial Culture and Start-up Business’ will be conducted nationwide involving 500 students.
Within ADB-funded ‘Higher Education Reform Project’, the training will be conducted by ‘Start’ LLC until May 15 dedicating to the students of five state universities namely, the National University of Mongolia, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, the Mongolian National University of Education and the Mongolian State University of Life Sciences and other 15 private universities.
Getting involved in the training aimed at giving fundamental understanding and knowledge on start-up business, the students will gain basic knowledge about influence of entrepreneurship development to the country’s prosperity, its factors and significance as well as learn to introduce own business idea properly, build the right team, choose target consumer and market, produce pilot products, formulate product development plan, perform an experiment, and write a business plan.
To encourage start-up ecosystem in Mongolia, ‘Start‘ Company was established in May, 2011. Since its establishment, the company has been supporting participants of start-up ecosystem through its various programs and training. Over 400 start-ups born on ‘Startup Weekend’ event by the company have been running their stable operations until today.
