MPs N.Uchral and N.Oyundari appointed as members of IPU standing committees

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament L.Enkh-Amgalan together with MPs Ts.Tsogzolmaa,
B.Saranchimeg, N.Oyundari, G.Soltan, and N.Uchral participated in the 140th
Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) held in Doha, Qatar on April
6-10.
During the Assembly,
MP N.Uchral was appointed as a member of the IPU’s Standing Committee on United
Nations Affairs and MP N.Oyundari -- as
a member of the Standing Committee on Peace and International
Security.
The assembly brought
together around 2000 representatives from 160 countries including experts of
United Nations and other international organizations, parliamentary staff, advisers, and embassy representatives.
