Mayor of Ulaanbaatar meets Turkish Ambassador

March 29, S.Amarsaikhan, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar,
received Mr. Ahmet Yazal, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey.
This year marks 50th
anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries. In this regard, the sides
exchanged views on implementing many works planned within the bilateral
cooperation.
Within the Memorandum of
Understanding on cooperation established by Ulaanbaatar city and Istanbul
administrations in 2016, TIKA has been implementing projects in Ulaanbaatar to
build nine primary health units and a dialysis center with the non-refundable
aid of Istanbul.
The Embassy of the Republic
of Turkey intends to organize a cultural festival for children within the
celebration of the diplomatic anniversary, for which the Ambassador asked
support from Ulaanbaatar municipal administration.
Mayor S.Amarsaikhan
expressed willingness to expand bilateral cooperation.
