PM meets with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh yesterday received delegates led by I.V.Morgulov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.  


Beginning the meeting, PM U.Khurelsukh expressed his delight that relations and cooperation of the two countries have been expanding and noted this year's marking of 80th anniversary of the Victory of Khalkh Gol Battle, 70th anniversary of Ulaanbaatar Railway joint venture and 60th anniversary of development of virgin land cultivation. "I believe that the two countries, that have always extended helping hands each other in hard times of war and constructions in peaceful time, will further cooperate at regional and international arena."


At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on broadening and developing trade and economic ties. In particular, they talked over relations between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union, opening Trade Representative Office of Mongolia in Vladivostok, conducting trial freight transport through Far East seaports as well as renewing fundamental structure of Ulaanbaatar Railway joint venture, making livestock healthy and passing natural gas pipeline through the Mongolian territory.
