Temperature to drop in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Snowfall and blizzard are expected in southern parts of the gobi region, while temperature is to drop in most parts of the country on March 9.
Snow and blizzard are also expected in the western parts of the central aimags tonight, and in mountainous areas of Khangai tomorrow during daytime.
Slight snow is forecast in southern parts of central aimags and most areas of the gobi region on March 9, and southeastern parts of the region on March 10. Wind speed will reach 12-14 m/sec in in the plains.
In the depression of Uvs lake and Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan rivers, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the nighttime temperature will range from -26 to -31 degrees Celsius, the daytime temperature will be -12 to -17.
In the depression of Great Lakes, in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Eg-Uur, Tuul and Terelj rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -18 to -23, while -5 to -10 degrees Celsius during the day.
In the gobi region, the nighttime temperature will be -8 to -13 degrees Celsius, and +3 to +8 during the daytime.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will range between -12 to -17 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +1 to +4 degrees Celsius.
