Slight temperature rise expected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Slight snow is expected in northern parts of western aimags on February 22, and in southwest parts of western aimags on February 23-24.
Wind speed will be 5-10m/sec in most time and will get stronger in front gorge of Arts Bogd Mountain, reaching 12-14m/s.
In the depression of Uvs lake and Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river, and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -32 to -37 degrees Celsius, the daytime temperature will be -18 to -23 degrees Celsius.
In the depression of Great Lakes, in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the banks of Orkhon-Selenge, and in the basins of Eg-Uur, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, and Terelj rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -22 to -27. The areas will have a relatively warm daytime temperature ranging from -4 to -9 degrees Celsius.
The nighttime temperature will be -11 to -16 in the steppes of Dornod whereas the area will get up to -2 degrees Celsius and daytime temperature will peak at +3.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will -14 to -19 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be 0 to -5 degrees Celsius.
