/MONTSAME/ A Mongolian delegation headed by Governor of Khuvsgul aimag
L.Ganbold is working in Irkutsk Region of the Russian Federation on February
19-22.
Governor of Irkutsk S.G.Levchenko received Governor L.Ganbold and they talked over wide range of issues on bilateral ties and cooperation. The sides agreed to establish Protocol of Understanding to put the discussed issues into actions including protecting the environment, boosting tourism, cooperating in agricultural and food production and forestry, carrying out joint research and protection actions of Lake Baikal and Khuvsgul Lake and state special protected areas as well as training personnel and improving Russian language training.
Moreover, Governor L.Ganbold was invited to participate in the 3rd International Conference on Water Ecology to be held in Irkutsk, in September this year.
The delegates will hold meetings with authorities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Irkutsk Region, Tourism Agency, Shelekhov and Listvyanka towns while attending round table meeting with businessmen and becoming familiarized with activities of some entities.
