Temperature rise expected throughout the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring (NAMEM) reports that the temperature rise is expected in most of the country starting from January 8.
Slight snow is expected in western parts of western aimags on January 10, in eastern parts of western aimags, and in some areas of central aimag gobi aimags on January 11.
Wind speed will be 5-10m/s in most of time.
In the depressions of Uvs lake and Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan rivers and, in the basins of Ider, Tes river, the nighttime temperature will be -37 to -42 while the daytime temperature will be -27 to -32 degrees Celsius.
In mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, Khurenbelchir, in the banks of Orkhon-Selenge, and on the basins of Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalkh rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -25 to -31 degrees Celsius. The daytime temperature will be -15 to -20 degrees Celsius.
The nighttime temperature will be -15 to -20 in southern parts of gobi region and sun-warmed areas. The areas will have relatively warm daytime temperature -4 to -9 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be -20 to -25 and the daytime temperature wll be -9 to -14 degrees Celsius respectively.
