Construction of National Diagnostic and Treatment Center running at 93 percent

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Health D.Sarangerel convened
a meeting of the steering committee of MON-8, a project on establishment of National
Diagnostic and Treatment Center and got acquainted with the construction
process.
Under the project, a diagnostic and treatment center with advanced
equipment and remote diagnostics tools for early detection of cancer and professional
medical staff will be built. Moreover, a ’Physician Development Center’ is
planned to be established in the center, creating favorable environment for
resident doctors and specialists to practice and work with mannequin.
The construction work currently is running at 97 percent
and 1580 out of 1870 medical equipment that will be supplied are ready to be
installed. The building will come under inspection of the State Commission on
March 31.
