National Day of Blood Donors marked

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ With a purpose to glorify and increase the number of blood donors, the National Blood Transfusion Research Center (NBTRC) is marking ‘National Day of Blood Donors’ today for the 4th year.

On the occasion, donors were awarded with medals. A medal ‘Glory 10’ was awarded to S.Henry, ‘Glory 20’ to T.Erdembayar, ‘Glory 30’ to N.Munkhbat, B.Buyantogtokh and N.Baasanbat, ‘Glory 40’ to D.Enkhbayar and ‘Glory 50’ to B.Munkh-Erdene respectively.

Moreover, D.Dolgormaa, who donated her blood over 100 times, was awarded with ‘Enerelt alt’ medal of the Mongolian Red Cross Society, M.Delger –‘Niguulsel’ and S.Soddelger –‘Best youth’.

NBTRC has been cooperating with JCI Capital since 2009. The organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in 2019 for increasing the number of permanent donors, publicize deeds of donors and glorify donors. According to the MoU, the organizations will collaborate in marking 10th anniversary of the project ‘Give life’, establishing a public council, creating a specific logo for celebrations, rewarding and glorying donors as well as others.


During the event, guests, honorable donors and over 570 students of National University of Medical Science got acquainted with the center's activities, facilities and technologies.
