Deputy Speaker L.Enkh-Amgalan receives members of Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russia

L.Enkh-Amgalan today received representatives led by Andrey Klishas, Chairperson of the Council of the Federation Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Underlining that bilateral ties and cooperation between Mongolia and Russia have been successfully developing at strategic partnership level, Deputy Speaker L.Enkh-Amgalan wished the delegates a pleasant visit in Mongolia.
Mr. Andrey Klishas
noted that friendship groups in the parliaments of the two countries are playing an
important role to inter-parliamentary cooperation and said “December 2018 will
celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian
Federation in Moscow. We are inviting members of the Parliament of Mongolia to the
ceremonial activities.” Furthermore, he expressed to fully back intensification of people-to-people, humanitarian and cultural relations while
developing bilateral ties in economic field.
2019 marks the 80th anniversary of Victory of Khalkh Gol Battle. The Governments of the two countries had talks on joint celebration of the anniversary. The sides agreed that it is crucial to promote this historic event to the younger generation and glorify the deed of war veterans.
