E.Sodnompiljee wins gold in Asian Para Games

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the Jakarta-2018 Asian Para Games, State Honored Sportsman E.Sodnompiljee won the gold medal by setting a new world record in the men’s up to 107kg power lifting.

The bronze medalist of the Rio 2016 Olympics and three time world champion, E.Sodnompiljee brought the 5th medal for the Mongolian team.

About 3,000 athletes from 43 countries tested their strengths in 18 sports in the 2018 Asian Para Games. The Mongolian team finished the pan-asian multi-sport event with a total of 5 medals: 1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.
