MP Z.Narantuya receives KAS representatives

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Member of the Parliament Z.Narantuya met with Deputy Secretary General and Head of the European and International Cooperation Department at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, KAS Resident Representative in Mongolia Johann Fuhrmann, and KAS program coordinator S.Ganzaya.
MP Z.Narantuya emphasized "KAS has made a great effort for realization of the values of democracy to Mongolian people over 25 years. I believe Mr Johann Fuhrmann will cooperate with us on expanding relations between the two countries"

The sides agreed that the Democratic Party’s objectives are important for promoting the value of democracy.
The MP voiced her view that state structure can be more competent if we improve state system and legal climate by revising the constitution, noting her hope that the KAS will further carry out public trainings on this matter.
Furthermore, she stated that, increase of the number of women at decision-making level can be achieved through improvement of their education and the foundation can make great contribution to women's development by conducting trainings for them.
Dr. Gerhard Wahlers said, "I conducted programs and trainings on strengthening women’s leadership in politics during my term as KAS Resident Representative in Israel. Afterwards, a large community network was established among its participants, expanding their connections and increased the number of women at high level posts. Thus, I believe implementing specific programs can intensify women’s political participation"
