Mongolia participates in Asian Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 12-14, the 2nd Asian Festival was held in Sofia, Bulgaria with the participation of 14 Asian countries including Mongolia.

The festival is co-organized by Sofia Municipality, the State Institute for Culture together with the Foreign Ministry, and the Ministries of Tourism and Culture.

As the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa and Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Culture had agreed on expanding bilateral cultural relations, Mongolia is promoting its culture for the first time in the Asian Festival. Models of the 'Mongol costumes' LLC, artists of 'Tumen Ekh' National Song and Dance Ensemble, throat singer Kh.Damdin and folk singer D.Burmaa participated in the festival.


During the festival President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev visited Mongolian pavilion.
