French ophthalmologists to cooperate with Uvurkhangai aimag

Uvurkhangai /MONTSAME/ French ophthalmologist, Dr Chantal Novel worked in Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center of Uvurkhangai aimag last week at the invitation of ‘Actions Mongolie’ NGO.
She got acquainted with activities of the eye treatment ward and made examination and diagnosis for 30 citizens, giving advices in collaboration with Dr B.Chantsaldulam. She also donated equipment worth of EUR 400 for prevention of blindness including autorefrakto-keratometer.
‘Actions Mongolie’ NGO and French Society of Ophthalmology established an agreement with Governor's Office of Uvurkhangai aimag and Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center to cooperate for three years. French opticians will make examination in Mongolia once a year and give advices to Mongolian opticians.
