Mongolian delegates work in Russian Far Eastern Regional District

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A working group comprised of representatives from Office of the President and corresponding Ministries, Government organizations as well as enterprises, headed by Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister B.Battsetseg worked in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation on May 9-13.
On May 10, the Deputy Minister met with Governor of Primorsky Krai of Russia A.V.Tarasenko in Vladivostok and they exchanged views on deepening bilateral ties between Mongolia and Russia, emphasizing opportunities of bilateral cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, culture and education.
The same day, Mongolian delegations met with representatives from the Ministry for the Development of the Far Eastern Federal District, corresponding Government organizations, entities of Primorsky Krai and the sides talked about economic cooperation in particular possibilities of Mongolia to use sea ports of the Far Eastern Federal District for transit transport.
Furthermore, the delegates got acquainted with activities and construction of coal handling ports such as Vostochny and Vera on May 11.
