MP S.Byambatsogt meets IDEA Regional Director

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 8, MP S.Byambatsogt met with representatives led by Leena Rikkila Tamang, Director for Asia Pacific Region of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA).
At the meeting, they discussed activities of the Institute in Mongolia and exchanged views on using international good practices in formulation of draft law on political party, funding of political parties and running elections, regulations on financial reporting, political party membership fee and donation as well as they talked on cooperation in formulation of the draft law.

The International IDEA is an intergovernmental organization founded in 1995 with purposes to develop democracy, strengthen good governance, and render electoral assistance and Mongolia became its member in 2011.
